Born 1993 in Rijeka, Croatia, Korina Hunjak has been involved in making drawings and illustrations since early childhood. She attended the School of Applied Arts Rijeka and the Academy of Applied Arts and gained a master’s degree in applied graphics, where she was recognized with the University rector’s best student of the Academy award. Illustrated several picture books (Legenda o Hani, Vrtni patuljak, Čarobni zeleni kišobran, Damjan i štap života, Abecedica), collaborated on video game (Omni, Gink in Trouble, Grill Mania, Numpops, Brainmem) and board game (Pirates! Treasure Islands, Drinkagon) projects, has work experience in the field of graphic design (visual identities and promotional materials) and illustration (personal short comic project, illustrations and studies). Experimented with 3D modelling and animating (MBurns song visualisers, Mountain). She is currently employed as an assistant on the Academy of Applied arts in the fields of applied graphics, comics and illustration, and working on a new picture book and a personal comic book project.
